CLAUDIO FIORENTINI

BIOGRAPHY

Claudio Fiorentini is a poet, novelist and painter. He has published poetry books such as ; "Da comunque Uomo", "Incauta magia del mentre", "Grido", "Sinfonia", "I colori dell'iride" and "Scarti non foste", the collection of  Pasquinate "Riflessioni sulla storia recente" (using the alias "Anonimo Monteverdino") , the short tales collection "Piricotinali col ruspetto" and the novels "Ovvero, le porte del mare", "Io parlo Jazz", "Il faro di Bighlise", "La stella e la sua luce", "Il misterioso caso di Via Delia da Gilal-Gulta", "Captaloona", "Fermata del bus", "Concerto a Vanagloria" and "Torri di pietra". Fiorentini's works are published on antologies, some novels have been adapted for theatre and has experimented turning his poetry works into improvised jam sessions with music and painting. He has translated for several hispanic poets, collaborates with independent publishers and cultural magazines: In collaboration with poet and philosopher, Franco Campegiani, Fiorentini wrote the cultural manifesto "Il Bandolo". Among all of his distinct recognitions, the most significant is the “Spoleto Festival Art” of 2014, which recognized his impact on cultural promotion.
