Julia Gallego es una artista plástica española, residente en Asturias, licenciada en Bellas Artes con especialidad de pintura por la Universidad de Salamanca. Sus obras están a medio camino entre la figuración y la abstracción y recrean espacios naturales donde el único protagonista es el paisaje. Lugares imaginarios en los que con un lenguaje lo más sencillo posible, abierto a la interpretación del espectador, y mediante la utilización de distintos soportes como la madera, el papel o la terracota, reflejo de las emociones que la naturaleza le transmite.

Julia Gallego is a spanish visual artist, residing in Asturias, with a degree in Fine Arts specialized in painting at the University of Salamanca. Her works are midway between figurative and abstraction and recreate natural spaces where the main subject is the landscape. Imaginary places in which with the easiest possible language, open to the interpretation of the observer, and by the use of various supports such as wood, paper or terracotta, reflects the emotions conveyed by nature.
